Mend Plus Triple Kit (The Herbalist):
The combination of these products promote respiratory health. It is especially
useful for chronic conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, pneumonia,
and chronic respiratory congestion.
The Lung Mend Plus Triple-Kit contains the following three liquid extracts which
work synergistically to bring optimal health. Each system of the body is
dependant on another for its ability to function properly. Therefore, to achieve
optimal results, Lung Mend Plus is ideal.

Quercetin/Nettle Plus
(The Herbalist):
Suggested dosage for acute symptoms: Take 3 tablets, two to three times
daily in between meals or on an empty stomach. For complete allergy
relief take additional. This product contains: Per 3 easy to swallow
tablets: Quercetin: 1000 mg Bromelain: 150mg. Stinging Nettle leaf: 100
mg. Pantothenic Acid: 250 mg. Vitamin C: 250 mg. Magnesium: 66 mg.
Quercetin is a bioflavonoid that is
often found in grapefruit, green tea, onion, and evening primrose, among
other plants. Studies have shown that Quercetin along with nettles work
by inhibiting the release of histamines from the mast cells, thereby
reducing allergy symptoms such as wheezing, congestion, and coughing.
Other conditions that benefit from quercetin are asthma and inflamed
skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It is combined with
bromelain, a proteolytic enzyme derived from pineapple, which also
reduces allergy related inflammation. Quercetin and bromelain need to be
taken on an empty stomach. This product also contains pantothenic acid
which reinforces defenses against allergies.

Ultimate C:
Suggested dosage for acute symptoms: Take 2 500mg. caps 4 to 6 times
daily. This product contains Ester C which helps protect the body from
allergens and moderates the inflammatory response.
Additional Supplements:
A.S.AP. (The
Herbalist): Contains antispasmodic herbs that relax the nervous system and
ease chest constriction with wheezing. Suggested Use: Take one to two
droppersful (30 to 60 drops) as needed. Useful to take before bedtime to relax
constriction.
Repitonic (The
Herbalist): Supports upper respiratory health. Suggested Use: Take one to
two droppersful (30 to 60 drops) as needed two to four times daily.
Respi-Oil™
(The Herbalist): Breathe
easier mentholated rub for external use only. It can be rubbed onto the chest, temples, used as a vaporizing steam, and in a bath or sauna.
Respi-Tea (The
Herbalist): Respiratory decongestant and soothing support for coughing.
Suggested Use: Drink one to four cups daily as needed.
Quercetin Nettle
Plus Protects against allergens, has anti-inflammatory properties, and increases immunity. Best taken on an empty stomach. Take as directed on label.

Nettles (freeze-dried only): Has natural antihistamine qualities to prevent allergic reactions. Take
two capsules as needed two to four times daily.
Flora Elite Probiotics Replaces good bacteria in the colon. Important if antibiotics are prescribed. Take two
to four tablets per day on empty stomach.
Neti Pot A small teapot-like devise designed for nasal irrigation. Fill the pot with sea salt and water (2 tsp. salt to one pint water) and irrigate your nose.
Beneficial Foods:
Try to have lots of different colored foods and beverages everyday and organically grown. High colored substances are high in antioxidants that boost the immune system. Eating these in whole foods has anti-inflammatory and immuno-modulating qualities.
Purple: Flavonoid and anthocyanadin-rich foods: Beets, red Cabbage, Chard, Red Onions, Blueberries, Cherries, Cranberries, Strawberries, Blood Orange, and Purple Grapes with skins. Green: Chlorophyll-rich foods: Wild Salad Greens, Kale, Spinach, Collards, Bell Peppers, Asparagus, and Artichokes. Yellow and Orange: Carotene and quercetin bioflavonoid-rich foods: Carrots, Citrus Fruits, Onions, Beets, Pumpkins, Winter Squash, Yams, and Sweet Potatoes. Red: Lycopene-rich foods: Tomatoes, Pink Grapefruit, Guava, Watermelon, and Dried Apricots. Legumes: Lentils, Split Peas, Black Beans, and Azuki Beans. Seeds and Nuts: Pumpkin, Sunflower, Sesame, Flax, Almonds, Pecans, and Walnuts. Healthy Oils: Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and Flax Oil. Limit These Foods and Beverages:
High allergen foods include peanuts and peanut butter, cow’s milk, corn, soy, wheat, and eggs. Any food with MSG in it. Baked goods containing yeast and grains containing gluten, i.e. Bread, Wheat, Oats, Rye, and Barley. Dairy: Ice Cream, Frozen Yoghurt, Imitation Eggs, Milk and Milk Products (including reduced and non-fat). Limit eggs –eat only omega -3 rich and cage-free. Beverages: Coffee, Soft Drinks, Concentrated Fruit Juices, Diet Drinks, Tap Water, and Alcoholic drinks. Sweeteners: Barley Malt, Corn Syrup, Sugar, Artificial Sweeteners (aspartame, saccharin), and glucose. Meats: Shellfish, Farm-raised Fish (i.e. Atlantic Salmon), Pork and Pork Products. Caffeinated substances - Coffee, Black teas, and Chocolate.
