After the ovaries cease to produce estrogen, the herbs in this formula support the adrenal glands, which take on the role of estrogen production. Black Cohosh and Dong Quai contain natural plant substances that stimulate the body’s ability to produce the proper balance of a hormone, such as estrogen, that help diminish hot flashes, spotting and flooding, help to revive dry vaginal tissue, and can deter osteoporosis.  Chaste Tree nourishes the pituitary gland and enhances progesterone production.  Siberian Eleuthero and Oats feed the adrenals and nervous system, which help to fight irritability and nervous anxiety.  Wild Yam eases pain associated with the uterus and ovaries.

Purple (Flavonoid and anthocyanadin-rich foods) - Beets, Red Cabbage, Chard, Red Onions, Blueberries, Cherries, Cranberries, Strawberries, Blood Oranges, and Purple Grapes with skins.
Green (Chlorophyll-rich foods) - Wild Salad Greens, Kale, Spinach, Collards, Bell Peppers, Asparagus, and Artichokes.
Yellow and Orange (Carotene and quercetin bioflavonoid-rich foods) - Carrots, Citrus Fruits, Onions, Beets, Pumpkins, Winter Squash, Yams, and Sweet Potatoes.

Eggs – (poached and soft-boiled) - omega-3 rich and cage-free. Sweeteners - Barley Malt, Corn Syrup, Sugar, Artificial Sweeteners (Aspartame, Saccharin), and Glucose. Shellfish and farm raised fish.
Meats: Beef, Pork and pork products.
Caffeinated substances - Coffee, Black Teas, and Chocolate.
